Russia’s used car market rises 1.7% to 501,700 cars in August

MOSCOW, Sep 10 (PRIME) -- Russia’s second hand car market expanded 1.7% on the year to 501,700 cars in August, research agency Autostat said in a statement on Tuesday.

The top three car brands were Lada, whose sales fell 0.9% on the year to 124,400 cars, Toyota with sales growing 0.3% to 54,800 cars, and Nissan with sales decreasing 0.3% to 27,900 cars.

In January–July, the used car market fell 0.1% on the year to 3.5 million vehicles.
